OOTD: Big Hats, Wedges, and Gold

I love big hats and I cannot lie!

Ok, I love shoes. And these Qupid nude heel less wedge shoes I got for about $4 are no exception! Crazy right?! This was the first time I wore them, and will probably sit in my closet for a while (favoritism gets in the way).

But I will admit, lately ~~my husband has pressured me to get big hats~~ I’ve had a slight obsession with hats.

I feel like hats have been all the rage. Maybe it was Pharell wearing a Vivienne Westwood hat earlier this year that started it all–idk, but I do know that between Hawaii and my hubby I’ve been acquiring a hefty collection. The thing is, I reeeeeally dislike hats. Or at least I used to. After a while they bother me and sometimes even give me a headache. However, with the right style and fit I realize they can be very comfortable and a great way to hide a bad hair day or a week of bad eyebrows. Plus, with us having a Jeep it helps to wear one on a windy Hawaii day.

Below I showcase a little casual look with one of my oversized hats. I’m thinking I should do a series of OOTDs wearing hats. Might as well put all of them to use…

To the East coasters currently in Fall mode…for a current weather look you can layer with a long oversized coat and wear tights under the skinnies or rock covered wedges.
