Shoe Trend: Bohemian Chic

I will dare to state that the bohemian chic trend is here for the long haul. Every year there seems to be a rise in music festivals and let’s be honest, bohemian style is classic. I’m reminded of this when I see it on a woman in her 40s, a young girl in her tweens, and everything in between. We will never get enough of the big sunnies, the mixed prints, the furs, and the COMFORT!

The key to rocking any bohemian look is to not over do it! The swankiest way to be successful at it is by mixing different pieces. Unless it’s your personal style, every item you put on shouldn’t scream hippie. You can see an example below by MATCHESFASHION.com with Aquazzura’s Coachella suede boots.

If you’re looking for a fashion investment, the boho-chic shoe trend is for you. Not only can you wear it to your festival of choice, but they also translate to a variety of other looks. You can’t go wrong.

You can see bohemian fashion constantly popping up on designer runways. It makes sense since boho-chic is made up of a lot of current trends; fringe, brown suede, oak buff, boots & booties, gladiator flats, tie-up shoes, birkenstocks, mixed prints.

For some inspiration check out the collections of Lanvin, Burberry, Isabel Marant, Ralph Lauren, Dsquared, Tory Burch, Etro, Giambattista Valli, David Koma, and Erdem.

Check out all my favorites below!
