It’s not often hot pink is incorporated into camo fatigue. I’m not a big fan of pink but I can certainly work with hot pink. So I was very pleased with and attracted to the Valentino Rockstud Neon Camo Pumps. I mean, how could you not be?
They’re swanky AND swankster.
The one thing I would have liked to see is the heel being of a darker color, like black or dark green, instead of the pale pink.
I love the 3D detail. The black and hot pink leather is laid over on fatigue canvas giving them a cool texture. Keeping this idea to a pair of classic pointed pumps does them just right. Had they tried to over do it with the style of shoe, it would’ve definitely taken away from the concept very quickly. As an added accent, they have a cute hot pink stud on the back heel.
I love this shoe.
This pair gives Valentino a younger, more hip appeal from it’s usual conservative looks. I really like the idea of mixing classic with edgy, and Valentino is doing just that with each new shoe collection. Do you agree?
I picture them with a tulle dress, a jumpsuit, or ripped jeans and a T-shirt.
